The Nanobots are robots that have a size not greater than an atom, so they are invisible to the human eye unless they are placed in the sight of a microscope. Its medical function has evolved with the passing of the years until today that, it seems to be a potent and effective cure of cancer, attacking strictly to the damaged cells and not to those in good condition, as it happens with other anticancer treatments where not only the cells that cause and allow evolution of this are exterminated, but also those whose system and structure are in optimal conditions.

The nanotechnology applied to cancer was developed by Researchers from the National Center for Nanoscience and Technology (NCNST) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences with the University of Arizona, in the United States. The developing objective is based on achieve the immediate search and destruction of tumours with carcinogenic type sells.  How? Through the first robotic DNA system that, from its molecular loads, is paralyzing and even eliminating tissues with the presence of cancer.

The interesting thing about this new creation of nanobots is that its surface is constituted by Aptamer of DNA which specifically attacks a protein (Nucleolin) that only grows in cells cancer, without affecting the benign cells during this robotics intervention, which lasts only 24 hours in action, once they are implanted in the organism, until degraded as part of a biochemical process.

However, it is only the beginning of this project to fight against different cancers around the world. It was confirmed that 3 out of the 8 mice, used in the laboratory as part of the experiment of nanobots did not manage to eliminate their tumours, and they regenerated, unlike the other five, which eliminated them successfully.
