What is a continuous infusion pump?

  • Do not wet, or clean.
  • Avoid bending connections.
  • You can bathe by protecting the pump and its catheter. If the catheter area is wet, dry with a hair dryer at mild temperatures.
  • You can use the phone-type shower or partial wash, leaving the pump out of the shower hanging over the waist height.
