DESCRIPTION

There are several important processes inside a laboratory. Testing samples and performing researches is part of the daily-bases routine. Tissue processing is a very important part of any histology laboratory.

Tissues are made from large groups of cells that cluster together to complete a shared function. A tissue processor is an instrument that is used to analyze and process samples by fixing, staining, dehydrating or decalcifying them.

These devices have slowly evolved to be safer in use, handle larger specimen numbers, process more quickly and to produce better quality outcomes. Most modern fluid-transfer processors employ raised temperatures, effective fluid circulation and incorporate vacuum/pressure cycles to enhance processing and reduce processing times.

Vacuum automated tissue processor

YR434 Automated Tissue Processor is an advanced microprocessor-controlled tissue-processing device. With an ideal ergonomic design, reasonable structure, easy operation, prompt processing, and high QPR, this device is an ideal choice for human or animal/plant tissue dehydration in the pathology laboratory of hospitals, colleges/universities, and research institutes.

This model features a controlled operation process by a PLC through a touch screen, easy to operate, reliable and stable. Its tissue specimen basket can be placed in a cup at any station by a mechanical arm, flexible and easy to operate. Moreover, it has multiple safety protection mechanisms including power failure alert and operation error protection. You should know that stirring during the dehydration process ensures adequate contact of tissue with reagents and paraffin to improve dehydration performance. In addition, nine 1.2-L (or a larger volume of 2.3L) medical glass beakers are used as processing cups, allowing clear observation of tissue changes during the operation.

Tissue processor options

This automated tissue processor has 12 tissue processing steps with a reagent cups number of 9 with a volume of 1.2L (2.3L for a larger volume) and a number of paraffin cups of  3, with a volume of 1.0L (1.8L for a larger volume). In addition, each cup duration is from 0 to 10 hours, being this 10 programs. Its maximum turn-on delay is 1 month and its minimum time interval setting is 1 minute. Moreover, it has a 500W power for 1.2L and 1000W for 2.3L. The basket’s size is Φ95×80mm, its full dimensions are 670 (Diameter) × 540 (Height, 680 mm at the highest point) and its net weight is 60kg.
